Use case: Standup Summaries
In the next 2 minutes, we're going to create an Agent that automatically finds daily standup transcriptions in Google Drive, creates intelligent summaries with bullet points, researches any issues that arise, and shares insights with your team while keeping you personally informed when no meetings are found.
Create a new Agent

Add apps to the Agent
For this use case, you'll need to connect Google Drive, Perplexity (for research), and Slack to your Agent.

Ask the Agent to process standup transcriptions
Now you can ask your Agent to automatically find, summarize, and research standup meetings with intelligent conditional logic for different scenarios.

Here's the prompt we've decided to use:
“Check for any transcriptions in Google Drive from our daily standups, take one from TODAY, summarize it in bullet points, spend 2-3 minutes researching any issues that arose and if there are none just skip this, then send in #general. If you didn't find any transcriptions from today, just skip it no need to continue but send me a DM in Slack saying that you skipped it, name is Philip.”
Of course, you can customize this to your liking.
Replace "Philip" with your actual name for personal DM notifications
Change #general to your team's preferred channel for standup summaries
Adjust "daily standups" to match your meeting naming convention in Google Drive
Use OneDrive or Dropbox instead of Google Drive if that's where your transcriptions are stored
Modify research time from "2-3 minutes" to match your preferred depth of investigation
Add specific formatting requirements like action items or team member mentions in summaries
